Anti-DPRK Campaign Can Never Be Justified: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- With no rhetoric can the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet regime justify their "sanctions" against the DPRK and joint military exercises for invading it and cover up their true colors as arch criminals and dangerous provokers escalating the tension of the Korean Peninsula.

Rodong Sinmun Friday says this in a bylined article.

Noting that the anti-DPRK "sanctions" are an unpardonable provocation to infringe upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and bring down the socialist system chosen by its people, the article goes on:

In January the U.S. and its allies prodded the UN Security Council into fabricating the brigandish "resolution on sanctions". This has no ground under international law as it is a revelation of deep-rooted hostility and repugnance towards the DPRK and extreme insolence and highhandedness.

On March 7, they prodded the UNSC into cooking up another "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its nuclear test. This was something unprecedented and the most blatant challenge to the ideology and social system in the DPRK. The U.S. hostile policy is aimed to disarm the DPRK, stifle it economically and destroy the ideology and social system chosen by its people. The new "resolution on sanctions" is serious and dangerous as it justified the U.S. hostile policy and paved the way for the hostile forces' launch of military action for aggression under the pretext of "nuclear non-proliferation".

The large-scale joint military exercises being staged by the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces are designed to invade the DPRK by force by leading the criminal economic "sanctions" to a military offensive.

The spate of sophism let loose by the U.S. and the south Korean regime is nothing but an artifice to evade the responsibility for the prevailing grave situation, escalate their moves for aggression against the DPRK and thus achieve their criminal purpose.
