U.S. Urged to Draw Lesson from Pueblo Incident: Nigerian Organization
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its website an article titled "U.S. should draw lesson from Pueblo incident" on March 13.

45 years have passed since the Pueblo spy ship case which pushed the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war, the article said, referring in detail to the circumstances of the incident.

It went on:

Through the Pueblo incident the DPRK fully demonstrated its mettle to settle accounts with those encroaching upon its sovereignty without an inch of concession.

The U.S. should draw a proper lesson from the Pueblo incident. In the subsequent period, too, it perpetrated ceaseless espionages, military provocations, arms buildup and military exercises against the DPRK.

Each time the U.S. was sternly punished by the DPRK. It is still busy hatching plots and perpetrating military provocations against the DPRK.

The DPRK is maintaining a high alert posture, closely watching the moves of the U.S.

The DPRK's mode of counteraction "React to 'retaliation' with retaliation, a total war with total war" 45 year ago has become unshakable.

Moreover, the DPRK has emerged a military power and a nuclear weapons state recognized by the world

The U.S. should never forget the lesson taught by the Pueblo incident 45 years ago.
