Day of Sun to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated at the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia on Mar. 15. Viktor Yegorov, chairman of the association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from March 15 to April 17 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events to laud the revolutionary career and feats of the President. |
