Stay-in Strikes Continue in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The Joint Action for Peace against War in south Korea staged a stay-in strike on Mar. 14 to denounce the war exercises for aggression kicked off by the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers.

The participants said that the joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are the north-targeted war rehearsal in violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement and the south-north joint declarations.

They said the present situation is due to the U.S., which broke the promise with the DPRK and persisted in the hostile policy to it.

Recently the U.S. has resorted to the anti-DPRK "sanctions" in collusion with south Korea under the pretext of the nuclear test of the DPRK for self-defence, they said.

Noting that the U.S. will surely be brought to its knees for its crimes, they called upon everyone to turn out in the drive for justice and peace to check a war.

The organization has continued the stay-in strike in denunciation of the north-targeted war exercises since Mar. 5.
