Serbian Political Party, French Organization Hit Out at U.S.-S. Korea Military Exercises
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- A Serbian political party and a French organization issued statements on Mar. 11 in protest against the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills staged by the U.S. and other forces following it.

The New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia in its statement condemned the U.S. for staging the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle for aggression despite the strong protest of the Korean people and the world peace-loving people.

The statement went on:

The U.S. is the largest criminal state which has been zealously engaged in fomenting division of nations and racial discrimination throughout the world, violating democracy and disturbing peace and security, as evidenced by the Korean division and the Korean war provoked by it.

It is a big fault of the U.S. if it thinks that it can bring the heroic Korean people into submission by beefing up military forces and staging war drills against the DPRK.

The New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia fully supports the government and people of the DPRK in their self-defensive measures for protecting the country's sovereignty and dignity to cope with the provocation by all the hostile forces including the U.S.

The France-Korea Friendship Association in its statement disclosed the scale of the joint military drills of the U.S., hitting out at the south Korean war-like forces' reckless bellicose remarks against the DPRK.

The statement referred to the fact that Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un issued an order to impose merciless military punishment upon the enemies' reckless provocation and that the DPRK clarified its principled stands for protecting its sovereignty. It expressed full support for them.

It urged the U.S. and south Korean trigger-happy forces to immediately stop the provocative war drills for aggression disturbing peace and security on the Korean Peninsula. It also demanded the U.S. conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.
