The bulletin carried the full text of the statement issued by a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army and an article titled "Present situation on the Korean Peninsula".

The U.S. has staged the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises against the DPRK together with the south Korean puppet forces in the wake of prodding the UN Security Council to pass the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK, while regarding it as a thorn in the flesh, the statement said, and went on:

We express great concern over the grave situation prevailing in the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. occupied the half of Korea in the mid-last century in a bid to ignite the Korean War and it has not yet implemented the resolution adopted at the 30th UN General Assembly on dismantling the "UN Command" in south Korea.

The issue of the Korean Peninsula should be settled by the Korean people themselves in a peaceful way.

The U.S. and its satellite forces should immediately stop their war maneuvers of aggression against the DPRK.
