Russian Organizations Support DPRK's Principled Stand
Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Russia expressed full support for the statements issued by the spokesmen for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK.

The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK said on Mar. 9 as follows:

The Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. are not mere drills but high-handed provocations aimed to threaten and blackmail the peace-loving DPRK.

The U.S. makes desperate efforts to block the peaceful development of the DPRK which preserves its firm independent stand defying all sorts of economic blockade and pressure.

We fully support the independent and peaceful external and internal policy of the DPRK.

On the same day the National Salvation Front of Russia in its statement said: Such scientific and technological progress as satellite launch and success in the nuclear test is a brilliant fruition brought about by the line of self-reliance consistently maintained in the DPRK.

It was thanks to the self-reliance that the DPRK could not only solve the issues arising in latest science and technology by its own efforts but creditably defend its socialism, meeting all sorts of challenges by hostile forces.

The purpose sought by the U.S. in holding the joint military drills is to secure a pretext for invading the DPRK.

It is quite just countermeasure that the DPRK nullified the Korean Armistice Agreement under this condition.

As the political deterrence has now become defunct, only a powerful material strike is left to be dealt at provocateurs.
