Rodong Sinmun Holds Hostile Forces Accountable for Grave Situation
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The forces hostile to the DPRK are to blame for the touch-and-go situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in a bylined article.

Since the demise of the Cold War the U.S. has resorted to arbitrary practices and interference and undisguised moves for aggression in different parts of the world under the signboard of "establishment of a new global order", styling itself "the only superpower in the world", the article says, and goes on:

Due to the U.S. high-handed acts, the situation has gone to such pass where not a few countries have followed its policy of establishing the American style order and even some countries styling themselves big powers hesitate to say what they wish to utter and do as dictated by the U.S.

The U.S. has become so arrogant that it put the UN Security Council under its control and turned it into a rubber-stamp for justifying the international moves to stifle the DPRK.

Under the pressure of the U.S. high-handed practices, the UNSC took in recent years a series of provocative measures justifying and legalizing the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK which call for groundless criticism, "sanctions" and pressure upon it.

Pursuant to "the resolution on sanctions," the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime are working hard to deliberately strain the situation on the Korean Peninsula and push it to the brink of a nuclear war against the DPRK.

However, the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers are seriously mistaken.

If the enemies infringe upon the sovereignty of the DPRK even a bit under the signboard of "sanctions", this will mark a historic moment for the army and people of the DPRK to give full play to their will to settle accounts with the U.S. and for the invincible war deterrence to go into action.
