On display in the exhibition are more than 142,000 pieces of consumer goods from factories in the light industrial sector and living necessities production bases in Pyongyang and local areas, including those under the Ministry of Light Industry and the Ministry of Foodstuff and Daily Necessities Industry.

Among the exhibits are vinalon goods, tetron rayon fabrics, new velvet fabrics, sports shoes, sportswear, foodstuffs, cosmetics and household goods.

Going round the goods, the visitors realized that solid foundations were laid for bringing about leaping progress in the production of consumer goods thanks to the energetic efforts made by leader Kim Jong Il.
