Halt to Key Resolve Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- More than 30 civic and public organizations of south Korea held a joint press conference on March 11 opposing north-targeted Key Resolve joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. and south Korean warmongers.

A press release was read out at the press conference.

It exposed the nature of the north-targeted Key Resolve started by the south Korean and U.S. authorities that day.

The Ministry of Defense is describing the drill as an "annual defensive one", but it is a sheer lie, the press release noted.

In the light of the military drill being conducted pursuant to the plan for invading the north with huge armed forces and preemptive nuclear strike means involved, one can see that the drill is aimed to gain the goal for offensive operations, it held.

The south Korean and U.S. military authorities defined the saber-rattling as a demonstration of the armed forces to the north, an indication that it has become more threatening than ever before, it said.

It urged the warmongers to immediately stop the north-targeted war exercises.

It stressed the need to wage broad actions to remove the danger of a war.
