S. Korean Women Demand Guarantee of Their Rights
Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Women workers of south Korea held a rally in Seoul on March 8 in demand of their rights.

At the rally speakers said that women are withering, subject to harsh discrimination and instable employment due to the misrule of the "government" authorities.

More than 10,000 women part-timers were dismissed shortly ago, they said, noting that this shows how the women's lives are being trampled down in south Korean society.

They called upon the women to turn out in actions to build society free from discrimination and contempt where the women's rights are guaranteed.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demonstration, shouting slogans "Ensure stable jobs!" "Let's win women's rights to work!" "Let's build new society by efforts of women workers!" and "Let's win a drastic rise of minimum wages and wages for living!"
