DPRK Experiences Exceptionally Warm Weather
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea experienced extremum air temperature on March 9-10.

On March 9, the amplitude of temperature between the highest and the lowest was nearly 20 degrees Celsius in the western coastal and northern inland areas of the country.

The highest temperature in Pyongyang was 20.5 degrees C., Kaesong 21.1℃, Phyongsong 20.2℃, Sariwon 19.8℃, Kanggye and Hyesan 16.6℃ and Sinuiju 14.5℃.

Such abnormal weather was also witnessed on March 10.

The sharp rise in temperature was due to the very dry and warm air that flew into the Korean Peninsula from southern China.

Meanwhile, winds at a speed of 10 to 15 meters per second swept most western coastal area, northern inland area and some areas of North Hamgyong Province from Saturday noon.
