US Urged to Opt for Dialogue with DPRK
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- Yang Un Sik, permanent chairman of the U.S. Regional Committee of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing the Juche 15 Joint Declaration, on March 7 released a statement titled "U.S., stop military drills and opt for dialogue with north side".

The Korean Peninsula is exposed to the greatest danger of war since the June 25 war, the statement said, adding: This is explained by Key Resolve and Foal Eagle north-targeted war maneuvers which started on March 1 and will last till April 30.

The U.S. administration was seized with the wild ambition to "achieve unification of Korea through absorption of the north" by such conspiratorial "strategy for collapse" as "strategic patience" in the past, it said, adding: This should not be allowed to repeat itself.

It urged the U.S. and its followers to discontinue cooking up the UN Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" aimed to wreck peace on the Korean Peninsula, and stop at once the joint military exercises.

It urged the present south Korean regime not to follow in the footsteps of the Lee Myung Bak regime but come out for north-south dialogue and U.S. President Obama to positively opt for DPRK-U.S. dialogue.
