"Sanctions" against DPRK Precisely Mean War Action: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S.-led collective "sanctions" against the DPRK precisely mean a declaration of war and a war action against the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun in a bylined article Monday.

It goes on:

The "sanctions" and war are unjust means employed by one country to force other country to accept its policy and intention.

Such "sanctions", which the U.S. adopted by abusing the UN Security Council, are unethical criminal acts to attain its goal of aggression by threatening not only the DPRK's sovereignty but its vital rights. It is, therefore, little short of a war action.

What is more serious is that the U.S. cooked up such "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK against the backdrop of the on-going Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.

This clearly indicates that the U.S. "sanctions" against the DPRK are leading to acts of aggression backed by military force, going beyond the nature of normal sanctions.

Such collective "sanctions" are bound to lead to a war.

That is why the army and people of the DPRK regard the collective "sanctions" as a declaration of war and an indiscriminate war action against it.

They have launched an all-state and an all-people action against the U.S. to cope with those "sanctions" and moves for a war of aggression.

The world will clearly witness how the army and people of the DPRK will foil such sanctions and war moves and how they will protect the dignity and position as a nuclear weapons state and satellite launcher.
