Present there were hundreds of scientists, technicians and other people and three-revolution team members who were highly estimated at several units.

The festival was divided into groups and individuals in forms of scientific and technological presentation, achievement exhibition and new technological exchange. Published there were more than 340 scientific and technological papers. Exchanges and technological services for new technological goods and varieties of cutting-edge goods from dozens of units were made in various forms.

Papers presented by participants of ten odd units including the Ryongsong Meat Processing Factory, the Central Plant Quarantine Station of the Ministry of Agriculture, Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, Pyongyang University of Architecture, Mangyongdae Aeguk Aluminum Sash Factory and the Central District Fuel Station placed first at the scientific and technological presentation.

Varieties of goods produced by the New Technique Distribution Station of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, etc. drew attention of the participants for their great significance in promoting the health of the people.

Meanwhile, there took place provincial festivals.
