Traditional Korean Foods Represent Women's Wisdom
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- From olden times, the Korean women have developed in a creative way various dishes good to health and longevity.

For example, varieties of processed beans and kimchi (pickled vegetable) are estimated to contain a big amount of nutrients, calorie and vitamins.

Kimchi is recognized as one of macrobiotic foodstuffs worldwide.

Bean paste has long been a required food for Koreans.

Korean women made with bean various kinds of dishes, such as bean curd, bean sprout and boiled ground bean. They also created cold noodle, fish porridge, watery radish kimchi and bouilli chicken with insam inside it.

Edible herbs are widely applied to making cuisines.

Among the national dishes are also viscus soup and steamed trotters.
