Friendly Gathering with Syrian Embassy Staff Members Held

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- A friendly gathering with staff members of the Syrian embassy here took place at Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies Thursday on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the March 8 revolution in Syria. It was co-sponsored by the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the DPRK-Syria Friendship Association. Present there on invitation were Charge d'Affaires Ad Interim Haissam Saad and staff members of the Syrian embassy. Officials concerned and teachers of the university were present there. The participants looked round the room devoted to the history of the university and lecture rooms. They were deeply impressed to learn that the university is training students as able talents, having all conditions for education under the warm care of the peerlessly great men. They talked to one another about the need to boost the relations between the DPRK and Syria, deepening friendship. |
