U.S., S. Korean Warmongers' DPRK-targeted Nuclear War Drill Slammed: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Foal Eagle joint military drill has been under way since March. 1.

Meanwhile, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are mulling staging Key Resolve joint military drill from March 11 to 21 in parallel with Foal Eagle drill. To be involved in these war maneuvers are more than 3 500 U.S. troops and over 10 000 armed forces at the level of the corps of the south Korean puppet forces and satellite forces of the U.S. under the berets of the "UN forces."

Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The U.S. is staging the large-scale joint military drill against the DPRK at a time when the relations between the DPRK and the U.S. are at the lowest ebb. This is an irresponsible and dangerous action to bring the situation to a catastrophe.

A war is becoming a reality, posing a threat to the DPRK, after going beyond an abstract conception.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces' confrontation hysteria against the DPRK is the height of folly, unaware of their destruction. This is nothing but a disgraceful action of those who are unable to face up to the reality.

The DPRK is no longer what it used to be in the past and there is no structure of confrontation in which the U.S. used to pose an unilateral threat to it. The DPRK has become a strategic rocket and full-fledged nuclear weapons state whether one recognizes it or not and the DPRK-U.S. relations have turned into those between the two nuclear weapons states.

This is the changed situation on the Korean Peninsula and a stark reality.

For the U.S. to shake a fist at the DPRK is as foolish an act as precipitating its own destruction.

If the U.S. wishes to stand in confrontation with the DPRK to the last, its army and people will never flinch from it but seize it as a golden chance for achieving a victory in the stand-off with the U.S. and the struggle for the country's reunification.
