Koreans Will Surely Force Japan to Pay for Its Past Crimes
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Anti-Japanese sentiment is mounting higher among the Koreans with the anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising as a momentum.

On March 1 more than 140 civic and social organizations in south Korea including the Consumers' Union for Restoring the Right of Bystreet Stalls strongly denounced the Japanese reactionaries' evermore undisguised moves to grab Tok Islets. They declared a boycott of Japan-made goods until Japan reflects on its past history and halts its moves to grab Tok Islets.

Small traders launched the boycott campaign that day.

Minju Joson Tuesday in a bylined commentary supports this as an entirely just action to force Japan to pay for its past crimes at any cost and firmly protect the sovereignty and dignity of the nation.

The commentary goes on:

Japan should make honest apology and reparation for its thrice-cursed monstrous crimes committed in the past.

The Japanese reactionaries are, however, getting evermore undisguised in their moves to seize Tok Islets in a bid to stage a comeback to Korea, while distorting its past history of invasion and openly reviving militarism in all fabrics of society.

They even published a "white paper on defense" in which they claim Tok Islets, part of Korea's inalienable territory, belong to Japan.

Moreover, they openly revealed its scheme to dispatch the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" to south Korea in "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of "rescuing abductees". Not content with it, they are undisguisedly seeking nuclear weaponization, discarding "the three non-nuclear principles."

Their ulterior design is to establish a triangular military alliance with the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces, take an active part in their war of aggression against the DPRK and thus regain Japan's erstwhile status as a colonial ruler.

If the Japanese reactionaries' moves for reinvasion are overlooked, the Korean nation will become again a plaything of outside forces and peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia will be put at grave peril.

Therefore, all Koreans who sincerely love the country and nation are turning out in a nation-wide struggle against Japan, wherever they live.
