Woman Marathoner Welcomed by Pyongyangites
Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Kum Ok flew back home Saturday after bagging a gold medal at the 14th Asian Marathon Championship.

At the airport she was warmly hugged by Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Kwak Pom Gi and its Department Director Ri Yong Su, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Ri Jong Mu and officials concerned.

Sportspersons and other people gave her bouquets and put fragrant garlands around her neck, sincerely congratulating her success.

Pyongyangites warmly welcomed her along the route from the entrance of Ryonmot-dong to Pyongyang Indoor Stadium via Ryonghung Crossroads, Kaesonmun (the Arch of Triumph) Street and Changjon Crossroads.
