Anti-DPRK Education in S. Korea under Fire
Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities' intensified anti-DPRK education of children is now sparking off big concern from people of different social standings.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of south Korea on Feb. 13 sent an official document calling for working out "a plan for educating students in security" to primary, middle and high schools across south Korea in a bid to step up education inciting the north-south confrontation.

To this end, the Seoul City Education Agency on Feb. 19 concluded an agreement with some institutions and set about intensifying "education in security".

According to the agreement, those institutions are busy conducting education in confrontation with the north with human scum who defected from the north involved.

The conservative organizations are also busy conducting the anti- DPRK smear campaign through special lectures on such themes as "clear understanding of the nuclear test in the north".

In this regard, a middle school principal in Seoul said that this atmosphere indicates the repetition of the education conducted to implant confrontation conception into the minds of students during the past dictatorship regime. This is creating serious uneasiness as it instills the unilateral idea inciting confrontation with the north, the school head added.
