DPRK's Nuclear Test Hailed by Russian, Nepali Figures
Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Russian and Nepali figures released statements on February 14 and 15 as regards the successful third underground nuclear test in the DPRK.

Ivan Slukhai, chairman of the War Veterans Committee in Moscow, said:

The DPRK's nuclear test was a measure for self-defence to cope with the U.S. nuclear blackmail with nuclear deterrent.

The DPRK conducted a nuclear test to cope with the UN Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" against it, demonstrating the will to defend its sovereignty to the last.

The UNSC should take issue with the U.S. hostile policy and nuclear blackmail against the DPRK, to begin with, instead of infringing upon the DPRK's sovereignty and violating its right to launch satellite.

The Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will surely emerge victorious in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving national reunification under the wise leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Manju Ratna Sakya, chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, said:

The DPRK's recent nuclear test was a clear message to the U.S. which has persisted in the hostile policy towards the DPRK and to the UNSC, which has lost its impartiality by toeing the U.S. policy.

I am sure that the DPRK's successful underground nuclear test will make a great contribution to the world peace.

I rejoice over the successful nuclear test conducted by the DPRK and congratulate Supreme Leader Marshal Kim Jong Un on it.
