Meeting for Solidarity with Korean People Held in Democratic Congo
Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- A solidarity meeting was held in Kinshasa on Feb. 19 under the sponsorship of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo to hail the DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and third underground nuclear test.

Present there were leadership members of the Communist Party and masses.

Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, general secretary of the Party, said in a speech that the U.S. wantonly violated the legitimate right of the DPRK regarding the use of space for peaceful purposes, taking issue with its peaceful satellite launch in December of last year and fabricating at last the illegal "resolution on sanctions" against it by prodding the UN Security Council.

The U.S. is also accusing the DPRK of its nuclear test for protecting its sovereignty, the speaker said, adding:

The present international situation is teaching us a serious lesson that any dialogue and negotiations with the imperialists should be based on one's own strong military muscle and that only the people who are united close behind their leader can protect their country's sovereignty and ensure their independent development.

We, who love world peace and justice, can not remain onlookers to the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. and forces kowtowing to it.

We will positively support the just cause of the Korean people.

A statement adopted at the meeting urged the U.S. and its allies to immediately stop their mad-cap confrontation moves against the DPRK, and the UNSC to retract at once the "resolution on sanctions" against it.
