DPRK's Nuclear Deterrent, Treasured Sword for Justice: Ugandan Body
Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement released a statement on Feb. 14 as regards the DPRK's successful third underground nuclear test.

The DPRK is prohibited from launching satellites even though other countries are allowed to do so: This is a brigandish logic, the statement said, adding that this is the most unpardonable insult to the Korean people and a mockery of them.

It went on:

The U.S. is now escalating the tensions to the extremes by deploying huge nuclear hardware for military offensive on the Korean Peninsula and in its vicinity and waging drills for mounting a preemptive strike at the DPRK.

Such brazen-faced practices touched off serious anti-U.S. feelings of the army and people of the DPRK.

We can no longer tighten our belts the blame for which rests with the U.S. Let us fight against the U.S. to defend the sovereignty of the nation and win a final victory. Let us show the U.S. enemy the mettle of the Koreans. This is the firm will of the army and people of the DPRK.

The 3rd underground nuclear test was the demonstration of the DPRK's nuclear deterrent.

No one has the right to take issue with it as it was a legitimate self-defensive measure, an exhibition of the towering rage of the army and the people of the DPRK and a display of their will to defend the country's sovereignty and their capabilities.

The DPRK's nuclear deterrent is a just treasured sword for defending the sovereignty and dignity of the country which makes it possible to smash the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists.

We fully support the DPRK's nuclear test.
