Two organizations in a joint statement expressed the positive support for the stance of the DPRK to continuously pursue the independent space development and further bolster up the nuclear deterrent.

They are the Dnepropetrovsk branch of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Dnepropetrovsk branch of the Ukraine-DPRK Association.

The statement said:

We bitterly denounce the U.S. and its allies for cooking up the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK at the UN Security Council in a base way.

We reject the hostile policy towards the DPRK pursued by the UN, which has been reduced to a henchman of the U.S. from a prestigious international body.

Socialist Korea is dealing a merciless blow at the hostile forces with its brilliant successes in all fields, typically the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2.

The Officers Union of the Soviet Union in a statement warmly congratulated the Korean people on their success in the satellite launch.

Tensions mount high on the Korean Peninsula as the UNSC cooked up the U.S.-proposed "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK in wanton violation of the legitimate right of a sovereign state to use the space for peaceful purposes.

We support the statements of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and its Foreign Ministry bitterly rejecting the unwarranted resolution.

We bitterly condemn the base moves of the U.S. and forces following it.

We urge the UNSC to roll back the discriminatory "resolution" at once.
