Day of Shining Star Celebrated in Poland

| Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The Polish website DPRK on February 16 posted photos on the occasion of the birth anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star). The website was entitled "Congratulation on the birthday of Comrade Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people" illustrated with the portrait of a smiling Kim Jong Il in the background of Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu. It carried more than 20 photos of him giving field guidance to the light industrial sector. The notice of the website said: February 16 this year is the 71st birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il. He always put the happiness of the people before all his work and activities. On this significant day the website carries photos dealing with his life devoted to the people. |
