Russian Papers Mark Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary
Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Russian newspapers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

They carried photos of a smiling Kim Jong Il.

The Feb. 7th issue of Nakhodkinski Rabochi in its article "Leader Kim Jong Il was a patriot" said:

He turned the DPRK into a politico-military power and socialist fortress with his ceaseless field guidance under the uplifted banner of Songun toward the end of the last century.

The DPRK ranked itself among several countries that manufacture and launch satellite and nuclear weapons states in the world thanks to his painstaking efforts and dedication. A bright prospect has opened for the country to attain the goal of a thriving socialist nation in the near future.

The Feb. 5th issue of Konkurent in an article titled "The Juche idea and Kim Jong Il" said:

He, basing himself long ago on all-round analysis and review of the history of the working-class struggle, solemnly declared the Juche idea as Kimilsungism, a new and unique idea which can be called only by the august name of President Kim Il Sung.

It is quite natural that the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is called Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, immortal banner for accomplishing the human cause of independence.

The 6th issue of Veteran carried an article titled "On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il, patriot loved by the people."

The Feb. 6th issue of Vladivostok in an article titled "The road covered by the DPRK" said that the Korean people will win one victory after another, holding in high esteem the dear respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un identical to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
