Palestinian Ambassador to DPRK Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan Thursday gave a reception at his embassy in celebration of leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary.

Present there on invitation were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Chang Sik, minister of Public Health, Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University who is concurrently minister of Higher Education, and officials concerned.

The ambassador in his address said all the successes achieved in the DPRK are the precious fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, who successfully guided the effort for the building of a thriving nation.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would register fresh leap forward and innovation in every field of socialist construction under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, who is brilliantly carrying forward to completion the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The friendly relations between the DPRK and Palestine which were provided by Yasser Arafat and Kim Il Sung and consolidated by Mahmoud Abbas and Kim Jong Il are growing strong under the deep care of Kim Jong Un, he added.

Choe Thae Bok said it is an expression of deep reverence for Kim Jong Il that the friends of Palestine significantly celebrated his birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) with the Korean people.

The cause of the Korean people for building a thriving nation will certainly be accomplished thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il, he said.

The Korean people will unvaryingly support the just cause of the Palestinian people, he concluded.
