S. Korean Supreme Court Sentences Teachers to Prison Term
Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Supreme Court sentenced teachers of the Pusan branch of the Teachers Trade Union to eight months in prison and two years' stay of execution, upholding the original verdict, on charges of violation of the "Security Law", according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

The court took this action for the mere reason that they produced reference books and distributed them and gave lectures on the basis of them, while operating a reunification school for teachers of the branch in 2005.

The south Korean puppet regime kicked off a repressive campaign against the progressive teachers, insisting that those books on reunification education which are no more than extracts from legal publications are "enemy-benefiting literature" praising and justifying the ideology and social system in the north. This is touching off bitter resentment among all compatriots.
