DPRK People Deem Nuclear Test Nation's Pride
Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- People in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea consider the country's recent third underground nuclear test to be a great pride of the nation.

Army-people rallies voicing support to the test have taken place one after another throughout the country.

Seen in and outside public buildings are visual aids reading "3rd nuclear underground test, representation of the military strength of Songun (military-first) Korea."

Kim Hyong Nam, manager of the Chollima Steel Complex, told KCNA:

"I think it is the greatest joy for each nation to have its dignity fully displayed all over the world.

The successful nuclear test, in the wake of the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2, well demonstrated the DPRK's decisiveness.

The DPRK has now turned into a full-fledged nuclear weapons state."

Song Myong Ho, chief engineer of the complex, said:

"The successful nuclear test is a great auspicious event as it heralded a bright future of the nation.

The test enhanced the Korean people's national pride. Nuclear deterrent is more precious than anything else for the Korean nation that has been constantly exposed to military threats from outside forces."

Ri Yong Ae, a doctor of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, said:

"DPRK's deterrent helps ensure the happy life of its people. The success in nuclear test greatly encourages the people of Songun Korea in the face-off with hostile forces."
