Danish, Pakistani Personages Hail DPRK's Successful Nuclear Test
Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- Danish and Pakistani personages issued statements on Feb. 12 and 14 to hail the DPRK's successful third underground nuclear test.

Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, said:

The DPRK conducted the third underground nuclear test in a safe and perfect manner despite the U.S. hostile policy and arbitrary practices.

By origin, the DPRK felt no need to conduct the nuclear test nor had any plan to do so.

The nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula spawned as the U.S. and its followers violated the sovereignty of the DPRK from A to Z.

The U.S. and the south Korean warlike forces have worked hard to put military pressure on the DPRK and suffocate its economy, while crying out for a preemptive nuclear attack on it.

In December last year, they prodded the UN Security Council to cook up a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its satellite launch, wantonly encroaching upon its sovereignty in disregard of its legitimate rights.

The U.S. should roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK, respect its sovereignty and solve all problems through dialogue and negotiations.

Some Western media are misleading public opinion to give impression that the DPRK deliberately escalates tension.

The issue will be settled if the U.S. and its followers give up hostile policy toward the DPRK and respect its sovereignty.

Shahida Wijarat, chairman of the Society for the Study of Self-Reliance of Pakistan, said that the DPRK's successful nuclear test increased support and deepened trust of the people in their leader.

He wished the DPRK success in its efforts for the country's peace and prosperity.
