Art Exhibition Features Kim Jong Il's Undying Feats
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- A national art exhibition is going on at the Korean Art Gallery from Feb. 14 to mark the Day of the Shining Star (Feb. 16), the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

On display there are 70 fine art pieces, including Korean, oil and acryl paintings presented by the Mansudae Art Studio, Central Fine Arts Studio, Pyongyang University of Fine Arts and other institutions.

Oil paintings "I Came to See My Soldiers", "On Snow-covered Post" "Persimmon Season" lively represent the harmonious whole between Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il and servicepersons.

Korean paintings "General Kim Jong Il among Workers of Songjin Steel Complex" and "Kim Jong Il among Coal Miners" deal with Kim Jong Il's tireless efforts made to encourage the workers in bringing a production upsurge.

Korean painting "Kim Jong Il among Makers of Ryonha CNC Machines" gives a glimpse of his energetic guidance for the development of CNC-based machines.

Oil painting "Unfolding Grand Blueprint for Nature-remaking Projects" and acryl painting "Panmunjom at Dawn" show the devoted service Kim Jong Il made to spruce up the socialist country and realize the cause of national reunification.

Posters "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us" and "Let Us Build Thriving Nation Our Own Way!" mirror the steadfast will of the local people to hold him in high esteem for all ages and their resolve to surely build a thriving socialist nation.

The art exhibition will run until Feb. 28.
