Ecuadorian Organizations Hail DPRK's Successful Underground Nuclear Test
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Ecuadorian organizations made public a joint statement on Feb. 13 to hail the DPRK's successful third underground nuclear test. They included the Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification, the Canar Provincial Institute for the Friendship and Solidarity with DPRK, the Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People.

The statement fully supported and warmly hailed the successful nuclear test conducted by the DPRK to defend its sovereignty at a crucial time when the U.S. and its followers became extreme in their hostile moves against the DPRK.

The independence of a country and nation can be protected by its own efforts in the present world, the statement said, adding:

The recent nuclear test was the legitimate exercise of sovereignty by the DPRK as part of its self-defensive measures to cope with the escalating moves of the enemies to stifle it.

It urged the U.S. to properly see the determination and strength of the service personnel and people of the DPRK all out in the action against the U.S. and stop its rash actions.

Progressive people and organizations of Ecuador express firm solidarity with the struggle of the Korean people, guardian of justice, advancing under the uplifted banner of Songun, single-mindedly united around the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, it stressed.
