The Guinean preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Shining Star and the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea jointly issued a special bulletin with various articles on Feb. 9.

An article titled "Tender-hearted father of people" said the Korean people and the world progressives remember him in the humblest reverence for him on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

HeKim Jong Il pursued the politics of love for the people in name and reality, said the article, adding:

He spared nothing for the people, finding his joy in their happiness.

He made ceaseless journeys for field guidance to mix with people.

In an article titled "Kimjongilia" the bulletin introduced in detail the festival of the immortal flower, an annual event in the DPRK.

The News Agency AKP of Cambodia carried in its bulletin on Feb. 11 an article titled "Kim Jong Il revered by people", which praised the undying Songun revolutionary leadership feats he performed by realizing the long-cherished desire of the Korean people to lead a dignified life in a powerful independent country.
