Kaeson Youth Park Tells of Kim Jong Il's Loving Care
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The December 5, Juche 100 (2011), issue of the DPRK's leading newspaper Rodong Sinmun carried a picture of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un smiling as bright as the sun when they visited the modernly-rebuilt Amusement Park in the Kaeson Youth Park.

The weather was very cold that day, but Kim Jong Il spent hours going round the park, seized with joy all the time.

To acquaint himself with the conditions of amusement facilities, he told officials to get on merry-go-round swing, triple giant stride, free fall and switchback.

He also stressed the need to supply in time sufficient raw materials to the restaurants in the park so that they can run properly.

He stopped at a mobile booth serving wheat cakes stuffed with meat to look into cake nutrients and price per cake.

Kim Hyok, manager of the park, told KCNA:

"That day, I told him I was afraid that he chose such cold day to visit the park.

Then he said with laughter that he disregarded weather conditions for the sake of people's happiness."

Prompted by his noble view of people, a number of recreation grounds and parks were fashionably built or rebuilt throughout the country, including recreation grounds in Mts. Ryongak and Chilbo.

The people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are now sorely missing him, who dedicated all his life to the people's happiness, with the approach of the Day of the Shining Star (Feb. 16), his birthday.
