Pyongyang Citizens Delighted at News of Nuclear Test
Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Citizens of Pyongyang were very delighted to hear the news about the successful 3rd underground nuclear test which was conducted on Tuesday.

Many of them were seen talking about the news with pleasure before large TV displays installed in park of Pyongyang Railway Station and other parts of the city.

In this regard KCNA had interviews with them.

Question: Would you tell about your opinion on the nuclear test?

Answer by Kim Yong Il, an engineman of the West Pyongyang Service Brigade of Engine:

The news makes me feel relieved. What I want to tell the world is that the enemies' persistent hostile action will only invite the DPRK's stronger countermeasures for national security and sovereignty.

Our country has to possess something more powerful than A-bomb in order to protect its people's security and regional peace. I am sure that the country's action to annihilate the enemies will grow stronger along with tightened sanctions by the U.S.-led forces hostile to it.

Q: The U.S. and its followers call for "resolution" and "sanctions" by invoking the UN Security Council. What's your opinion?

Answer by O Il Jin, a department head of Kim Chol Ju University of Education:

The UNSC is no more than a "U.S. security council". So, we have neither recognized its unreasonable "resolution" nor been afraid of "sanctions" and pressure. Since the DPRK made its decision, it should take tougher countermeasures.

The U.S. has persistently termed the DPRK's satellite a "missile". In my opinion, it is needed to show what a true missile is by firing it at a target set in open sea off the northeastern part of the U.S.
