Mokran Bookshop Bustling with Citizens
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the lunar New Year's Day, the Mokran Bookshop in Changjon Street here has bustled with citizens.

Put on sale at the shop are copies of "Collection of World's Famous Tales for Children", books on cooking, medicine and other common knowledge and various kinds of greeting cards.

Ryu Su Ryon, manager of the bookshop, told KCNA:

Best seller here at present is greeting cards, made in various forms and styles to meet the demands of people.

It is a custom of the Korean people to exchange greetings, cards and gifts with each other on the lunar New Year's Day. Contained in those cards are wishes for good health, happiness and success.

Most popular of the cards are those featuring landscapes of the country.

Such practice well shows the noble etiquette and morality of the Korean people.

The bookshop is always crowed with customers, not only in major holidays but also in ordinary days.
