Rodong Sinmun Denounces U.S. Blackmail against DPRK
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the nuclear-powered submarine San Francisco belonging to the U.S 11th Flotilla and Aegis cruiser Shiloh staged joint anti-submarine exercises in the East Sea of Korea with south Korean puppet forces. What must not go unnoticed is that the U.S. imperialists opened to media even the interior of the nuclear submarine equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles, kicking up hysteria.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The recent saber-rattling of the U.S. imperialists is an expression of their intention to invade the DPRK by leaving no means untried in the event of "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula. It was an open threat and military blackmail against it.

Timed to coincide with this, a nuclear-powered carrier belonging to the U.S. 7th Fleet is operating in the waters off the peninsula.

The situation goes to clearly prove that their dangerous scenario to ignite a nuclear war on the peninsula at any cost is being put into practice.

These warmongers, however, have the impudence to talk about "possibility of provocation" from someone and "message of strong warning."

They kicked up such military racket, taken aback by the bomb-like declaration of an all-out action taken by the DPRK to counter the UNSC "resolution on sanctions" against it over its satellite launch for peaceful purposes. This was a revelation of pusillanimity and persecution mania.

The army and the people of the DPRK are not frightened by such "demonstration of armed forces".

If the U.S. dares commit a reckless provocation while looking down on the DPRK, obsessed with megalomania about its military muscle, the army and the people of the DPRK will never miss a golden chance but wipe out the aggressors to the last man.
