Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Venezuela

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Venezuela on Feb. 5. Dr. Yecenia Garcia, chief of the Venezuelan Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. It decided to give wide publicity to the glorious revolutionary career and undying feats of Kim Jong Il and organize diverse political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
