Korean People's Just Cause Supported in 3rd All-India Women's Congress
Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- The participants in the 3rd All- India Women's Congress in Kerala State, India from Jan. 29 to 31 expressed full support and solidarity for the just cause of the Korean people.

The secretary general of the All-India Organizing Committee for Women's Culture said at the forum for women against imperialism:

The DPRK is a socialist country fighting against imperialism.

The U.S. is viciously moving to prevent other countries from having nukes while threatening many countries with nukes.

The DPRK is standing firm against U.S. imperialism by building a nuclear deterrent for self-defence.

We should positively support the Korean people in their struggle for firmly defending socialism against imperialism.

The chairwoman of a Nepali women's revolutionary organization said in a speech: The DPRK is a model of the just struggle of the world progressive people aspiring after socialism and fighting against capitalism and imperialism. The Nepali people will stand by the Korean people in the anti-imperialist struggle.

A special statement for the DPRK which was adopted at the congress said that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities should immediately withdraw the anachronistic hostile policy towards the DPRK, and the U.S. should respond to the proposal advanced by the DPRK to put an end to the state of armistice on the Korean Peninsula and to build durable peace-keeping mechanism.

Korea's reunification should be achieved independently and peacefully by the Korean nation itself, and outside forces and their allies should stop acts hostile toward the DPRK, the statement emphasized.

It extended support and encouragement to the Koreans in their efforts to defend the sovereignty of the country and build a thriving socialist country, rallied close around their supreme leader.
