Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Indonesia

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated on February 4 under the co-sponsorship of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia and the Indonesia-Korea Association for Friendship and Cultural Exchange. Eko Suryo Santjojo, general chairman of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. It decided to organize diverse events praising the revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period between February 4 and 17. |
