Chilhyang Steamed Chicken, Traditional Korean Dish
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Chilhyang steamed chicken is one of the traditional Korean dishes.

According to the history book "Forestry and Economy" released in the period of the Feudal Joson Dynasty (1392-1910), Chilhyang in Korean represents seven kinds of aroma smelled from the steamed chicken.

The dish is cooked with seven kinds of raw materials, including broad bellflower, ginger, Welsh onion, prickly ash and oil, put into stomach of chicken before being steamed.

The dish, which has been considered the best of the chicken dishes, is very good for health.
