Kim Jong Un's Decision Stirs Up Morale of Servicepersons

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, at the recent enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), made an important decision which would serve as guidelines for further strengthening the Korean People's Army (KPA) in keeping with the demands of the WPK and the prevailing situation and defending the security and sovereignty of the country.

The news has stirred up the morale of the servicepersons ready to turn out in an all-out action against the U.S. imperialists.

An Chol Song, a KPA officer, told KCNA:

"History shows that a nation without strong military capabilities is reduced into a slave of the imperialists eventually.

　I will dedicate myself to the fight to smash the escalating anti-DPRK war moves of the U.S. and its followers and reliably defend the peace and security of the Korean Peninsula."

Paek Kwak Hyon, a KPA soldier, said:

"To bolster up the military muscle is the most important state affairs to which a priority should be given consistently as long as imperialism exists on the earth.

I will do my best to prepare myself to be ready for all combat conditions.

Final victory is in store for the DPRK led by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, who is possessed of rare wisdom and stratagem, matchless grit and pluck and noble virtues."
