Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated by Koreans in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated by the United Confederation of Koreans in Khabarovsk, Russia on Feb. 2. Choe Song Jong, chairman of the confederation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold colorful events including seminar and lecture on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
