UN "Resolution on Sanctions" against DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Each time the DPRK launched its satellites for peaceful purposes, the U.S. and its followers made much fuss, terming it "launch of long-range missile".

Rodong Sinmun Friday says in a bylined article in this regard:

The U.S. and its followers cooked up the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK at the UN Security Council though they recognized the successful launch of its satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 at the end of last year.

They claim that the DPRK's launch of satellite was illegal because it used missile technology.

They assert there is no problem for other countries to launch their satellites but only the DPRK's satellite launch poses a "threat". This is nothing but sheer sophism.

The U.S. insistence that the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes is the "launch of long-range missile" though it poses no problem can never be overlooked as a simple expression of jealousy and persecution mania. Herein lie its sinister aims.

One of the U.S. black-hearted purposes is to justify its moves to establish a missile defence system aimed at dominating the world by making the "missile threat" from the DPRK an established fact.

Having built a missile shield in Europe in the main, the U.S. has worked hard to build a similar missile shield in East Asia and Mideast in recent years.

It is the scenario of the U.S. to complete the formation of the siege to countries in the Asia-Pacific region, which it has long pushed forward, in its sinister bid to hold strategic edge and expand the sphere of military domination. Its ulterior aim is to emerge an unchallenged dominator and ruler by putting the Asia-Pacific region under its control in terms of politics, economy and military affairs.

The DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes can never be a pretext for the U.S. moves to establish MD.
