Korean in U.S. Praises DPRK's Policy of Attaching Importance to Science and Technology
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The Federation of Koreans in the U.S. posted on its internet website on Jan. 16 an article contributed by Kim Hyon Hwan, director of the Institute of Independent Ideology in the U.S., in praise of the DPRK's policy of attaching importance to science and technology.

The article said that the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un invited to Pyongyang scientists, technicians, workers and officials who contributed to successfully launching satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and showed the greatest privilege and deepest loving care to be always remembered by them throughout their lives.

Satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 launched by the north was produced by its efforts and wisdom and with indigenous technology, ranging from design, manufacture, assembling and observation before and after its launch, the article noted.

The north is a country of Juche which has never yielded to any blackmail and threat of big powers, it said, adding:

The successful launch of the satellite, an aggregate of latest science and technology, is the fruition of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of attaching importance to science and technology and men of talent.

The scientists and technicians of the north are busy with researches to devote themselves to the country and the nation thanks to strong support of the state.
