UNSC's "Resolution" against DPRK under Fire in South Africa, Bangladesh
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- South African and Bangladeshi figures made public statements on Jan. 24 and 28 in which they branded the UNSC's "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK as a wanton violation of international law.

Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party who doubles as chairman of the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, said in his statement:

The anti-DPRK "resolution on sanctions" fabricated by the UNSC this time is a wanton violation of international law which publicly recognizes the fact that satellite launch for peaceful purposes is the inviolable independent right of every country. This, at the same time, proved that the UNSC is a marionette of the U.S.

We send sincere support to the Korean people in their just struggle to defend the DPRK's independent right.

We bitterly denounce the UNSC's "resolution" which runs counter to the will of world progressives.

M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, said in his statement that the UNSC's "resolution" is a product of its attitude toeing the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK in violation of universally accepted international law.

He urged the UNSC to make an apology for gravely infringing upon the sovereignty of an independent state and unconditionally withdraw its unjust "resolutions."

He extended full support to the stand of the DPRK that it would continue proudly exercising its independent and legitimate right to satellite launch for peaceful purposes.
