U.S. Urged to Stop Moves against DPRK
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Peruvian organizations on Jan. 29 slammed the UNSC for adopting a "resolution" against the DPRK over its legitimate satellite launch.

The Peruvian Committee for Solidarity with Peoples in its written protest said that lurking behind the "resolution" is the U.S. sinister intention to block the DPRK's social progress and development of science and technology, monopolize space and realize its ambition for world domination.

It went on:

The UNSC's "resolution" cooked up by the U.S. gravely threatens global peace and stability.

The U.S. should immediately stop all sorts of anti-DPRK moves, mindful of the bitter defeat it suffered in the 1950-1953 Korean War.

We fully support the DPRK's satellite launch, a legitimate right of a sovereign state, and vehemently denounce the UNSC's "resolution".

We extend full solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country.

The Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in its protest letter to the UNSC branded the "resolution on sanctions" fabricated by the U.S. as part of its campaign for aggression and provocation against the DPRK.

It demanded the UNSC maintain the fair and universally accepted stand and the U.S. roll back its anti-DPRK policy at once.
