Lee Myung Bak Regime Accused of Its Racket for "Additional Sanctions" against DPRK
Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The south Korean regime's racket for additional sanctions against the DPRK is a hostile action intended to do harm to fellow countrymen in collusion with outside forces and a dangerous one to bring the disaster of a nuclear war to the Korean nation, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in a bylined article.

The Lee Myung Bak regime, which is bereft of even an iota of national soul and feels no shame, is taking the lead in the criminal international offensive for pressurizing the DPRK, pursuant to foreign forces' confrontation with it, the article says, adding:

The Lee regime's campaign for tightening "sanctions" against the DPRK in league with outside forces is aimed at realizing its scenario for invading the DPRK at any cost.

Its extra zeal to tighten the "alliance" with the U.S. is also intended to invade the DPRK by dint of military nexus with the U.S.

Peace and peaceful reunification can never be expected on the Korean Peninsula and the Korean nation can never escape disaster unless the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean regime are eliminated.

The above-said campaign of the Lee regime for additional "sanctions" against the DPRK is little short of open declaration of a war against it as it means an unprecedented military provocation.

The Lee regime is sadly mistaken if it calculates it can achieve its aggressive aims through the U.S.-backed campaign for additional "sanctions" against the DPRK.

No "sanctions" campaign can work on the DPRK.
