Title of DPRK Labor Hero Awarded to Secretaries of Party Cells

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The title of the DPRK Labor Hero and Gold Medal (hammer and sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class were awarded to secretaries of party cells of the Workers' Party of Korea Kim Sun Ok, head of animals keeping team No. 2 of breeding and keeping shop No. 1 of the Central Zoo of the Pleasure Park General Bureau, An Ho Chun, journalist of the Second Section of the Fifth Department of the Korean Central News Agency, Ri Tong Ho, smelter of the Songjin Steel Complex, O Jae Hwan, culturist of the third work-team of production shop No. 4 of the Pupho Shallow Sea Culture Station in South Hwanghae Province, Hong Sun Jae, farmer of agricultural work-team No. 1 of the Ponghwa Co-op Farm in Kangdong County, Pyongyang, Kim Hak Su, farmer of agricultural work-team No. 11 of the Ryangdam Farm in Unchon County, South Hwanghae Province, Ri Kyong Hwa, feller of production work-team No. 2 of the Sollim Pass Station of the Phungso Forestry Station in Ryangg ang Province. They greatly contributed to positively arousing the masses to carrying out the Party's policies and strengthening the militant might of the Party by raising the function and role of party cells, while working faithfully true to the Party in others' presence or behind their back in difficult and labor-consuming fields for decades. A decree was promulgated by the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK in this regard on Thursday. |
